It’s wraps this week.
Choose from slow cooked, spicy pulled pork or spicy slow roasted vegetables including butternut squash, chestnut mushrooms and baby sweetcorn.
Served with a roasted garlic and butter bean dip, bean and rice salad and crunchy homemade coleslaw.
It’s pasta!
Thick tagliatelle wrapped in a creamy, leek and mushroom sauce made with double cream (dairy or vegan) a sprinkling of fresh thyme, a splash of white wine and a little more of this and that. Served with either roast chicken thigh or quorn fillet and three steamed fresh vegetables.
Warning: Make sure you have a serviette handy for your chin.
The old faithful : lasagne
It’s the traditional three layers : durum wheat pasta, a rich, slow cooked and thickened mince and tomato sauce with red wine and herbs and the final layer – a creamy white sauce with plenty of cheese and nutmeg. Baked to a bubbly, bronzed perfection.
Served with a generous fresh salad and a home made Italian salad dressing. Warning: Contains oodles of garlic.
Meat: Fresh steak mince from the local butcher
Vegi: Quorn mince
Vegan: All dairy free ingredients are used
New balls please.
Nothing to do with tennis. Everything to do with hand crafted Moroccan balls.
Vegan & vegi balls: Made with freshly cooked chick peas, onions, carrots, mushrooms and a blend of select spices.
Meatballs: Made with fresh minced lamb from the local butchers and a sprinkle of coriander, cumin, paprika and a few more besides.
Served with a rich tomato sauce with a splash of red wine, red onions, garlic and the magical ras el hanout. Oh, and don’t forget the flatbread and the spicy Middle Eastern yogurt dip. Yummy.
Spicy Red Lentil Stew
It’s the humble red lentil on the menu tonight, combined with roasted sweet potatoes, tomatoes, coconut milk, fresh coriander and a few special spices.
Served with either marinated tofu, halloumi or chicken fillet. Hearty, filling, healthy and totally delish.
